Community members are invited to participate in Keene Public Library's "Find Your Voice" Tiny Art Show, sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Artists ages six and up can pick up a tiny art kit from the Youth Department on the second floor while supplies last. Each kit contains a tiny canvas, clay, paint, and brush. Artists can also submit work in other media, but please limit the size to approximately 4 x 4 inches. Completed works of art should be returned to the library for display by July 27, 2023. All artworks will be displayed at Keene Public Library from August 1 through August 29.

"We're excited to see what people make. This summer, our Reading and Learning Challenge is called "Find Your Voice." Our community tiny art project encourages people to paint, draw, collage … and "find your voice" in whichever medium they desire!" says librarian Amy Kraemer.

Participants can embellish the canvases with paint, collage, poetry, or any other medium, as long as it is contained to the canvas. Kits are limited to one per person. All artworks will be available for pick up after a Back to School Ice Cream and Art Celebration, which will be held at Keene Public Library on Tuesday, August 29, at 1 p.m.

Keene Public Library is located at 60 Winter Street. For more information, please call 603-352-0157.
